Welcome to the log of my flavour trials, still refining, still exploring.

Ever go out to eat or see food in books, menus even movies and think, how hard could this be to make at home?  This blog is my tastebud adventure to things that bring me joy; food, flavour, aroma.

This idea started from wanting to learn more recipes from my mum.  Learning and exploring all those childhood dishes that were passed down to her from her parents.  Realising that most these dishes are near impossible to find at a restaurant here.  I wanted to be able to keep recipes so that I could pass it on to others to share in the enjoyment.  So here we are, the beginning of an adventure.

Full disclosure though, I tend to not measure anything when cooking… My first test will be actually measuring things out and recording it!
